With the first day of school just around the corner, a Port Huron barber is offering free haircuts to help local boys head back to class with confidence.
Tre White, a 2014 Port Huron High School graduate and owner of Stacks Cuts & Tatts, will provide free haircuts to boys in elementary, middle and high school from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Aug. 30 at Knox Field. No appointment is necessary and families are welcome to walk up anytime during the event.
White, who cuts hair from home and also travels to clients, organized the giveaway as a way to support families during the back-to-school season. His girlfriend, Marissa Gagnon, said the idea came out of a conversation the two had while planning how they could give back.
