GRIFFIN — During an enforcement operation on Aug. 5, agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Atlanta Division and the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) seized 10 kilograms of cocaine and arrested one person.

The seizure came after a SCSO Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota 4Runner. During the traffic stop, the deputy located an after-market concealed trap containing the cocaine. One individual, who immigrated into the U.S. illegally, was arrested on drug trafficking charges.
