KINGSFORD — The 77th annual meeting and board elections for Dickinson Conservation District will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dickinson County Library Main Branch, 401 Iron Mountain St., Iron Mountain.

The event will include updates from Dickinson Conservation District, Wild Rivers Invasive Species Coalition, Michigan Association of Conservation Districts, Forestry Assistance Program, and Natural Resources Conservation Service. There will be a keynote speaker, Dr. James DeDecker of Michigan State University Upper Peninsula Research and Extension Center, presenting what the overall facility is about and what it can provide for area residents.
