Officials are warning Connecticut beachgoers to look out for a sneaky seagull known to snatch food from picnickers at Waterford Beach Park.
The seagull, known as Cecil, is "notorious for stealing sandwiches and biting fingers," Waterford Recreation and Parks said in a July Facebook post .
Several locals and visitors have taken to social media to discuss the stingy bird's antics.
Town officials recommend securing any open food at the beach to prevent Cecil and other seagulls from swooping in and making out like bandits.
