The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent Friday to $4.464, one day after decreasing one-tenth of a cent.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 7.5 cents lower than one month ago and 11 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has dropped $2.029 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose eight-tenths of a cent to $4.418, one day after dropping four-tenths of a cent. It is unchanged from one week ago but 6.9 cents less than one month ago and 6.7 cents lower than one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped $2.04 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct.
