A resolution protesting against the construction of a building under the Broadway bridge on the North Little Rock side by the Johnson Team and Dray Company and the Reaves Transfer Company was adopted at the weekly meeting of the Little Rock Engineers' Club yesterday noon. The engineers protested on the ground that such a building would spoil the beauty of the bridge and also be a menace to its safety. The resolution was based on information that the building would rise above the bridge on either side and necessitate the removal of 98 feet of railing on both sides.
