ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) -- A two-alarm fire at a restaurant in Attleboro early Saturday morning is under investigation.
Around 1:30 a.m., crews were called to the El Buen Sazon restaurant on Pine St. for a report of fire coming from the building.
When they arrived on scene, firefighters were met with heavy flames and smoke coming from the back of the building.
Interior crews faced zero visibility and extreme heat while working to extinguish the flames.
Just after 2 a.m., firefighters were forced to evacuate the building due to the roof collapsing.
The owners were at the restaurant at the time of the fire, but no one was injured.
“This was a challenging fire to extinguish,” said Attleboro Fire District Chief Michael Maitland in a release.
“The building’s layout was far from typical,
