Former Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has made a shock return to football by signing for Conor McGregor's pub team.
Stokes, 37, has been out of the game since 2020 when he quit Livingston after less than three weeks - blaming Livi's artificial pitch.
Since then, ex-Republic of Ireland international has had numerous run-ins with the law and recently avoided jail on appeal for drug dealing and drunk and dangerous driving.
But five years since his last professional appearance, former Hibs star Stokes will pull the boots back on for amateur side Black Forge FC.
Journeyman Stokes shared the news of the transfer on Instagram, writing: "Better get the dust knocked off the boots."
