Morice Norris says he’s “all good” after a scary injury halted an NFL pre-season game on Friday.
The Detroit Lions defensive back wrote on Instagram Saturday that he’s OK after he was taken off the field in an ambulance against the Atlanta Falcons.
“I’m all good man, don’t stress it. Appreciate all the check-ins and love,” Norris wrote above a previous post featuring a bible verse.
The Lions said after the game that Norris, 24, was in stable condition with movement in his extremities.
He was hurt with 14:50 to go, trying to tackle Atlanta running back Nathan Carter.
Norris, the former Fresno State player listed as Detroit’s second-team safety, hit Carter with his facemask facing the running back’s midsection, and the defender’s head snapped back after making the hit.
