Motherwell and St Mirren couldn’t separated in a drab 0-0 stalemate in the Scottish Premiership. There was only really one good chance each between the teams in a blustery first half the SMISA Stadium. And, despite the visitors have much more possession, it was home skipper Mark O’Hara who should have put his team ahead within 60 seconds but he failed to convert from close range. Then Ibrahim Said forced a save from Shamal Georgia and Motherwell will have been disappointed not to go in ahead the break after their dominant first half performance. The second half didn’t really get started for the fifteen minutes but Callum Slattery had a free kick well turned around the post by George. ‌
