CARMEL, Ind. — One person was injured Saturday afternoon following a shooting in Carmel.

According to the Carmel Police Department , around 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 9, officers were called to the 1100 block of Golfview Drive , near Keystone Parkway, on a report of a person shot.

Police say one adult victim was taken to a local hospital and that the suspects have left the area and there is no known threat to the public.

A little over 24 hours later, Carmel police announced they'd arrested five juveniles in connection to the shooting.

Carmel PD says the suspects included four 17-year-olds and a 14-year-old. At least one of the 17-year-old faces charges such as robbery, aggravated battery, attempted murder and intimidation. The other 17-year-olds all face robbery, intimidation, dangerous possess
