GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - While no score was kept at Saturday’s scrimmage, players and coaches left feeling confident with how their offense moved the ball.

The team returns offensive coordinator John David Baker and Quarterback Katin Houser, who were a lethal combo down the stretch of the 2024 season.

The one negative thing they took from the intra-squad scrimmage at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, was that they think they could be better in close to the endzone.

“We just want to finish in the red zone, that’s our big emphasis going into the season,” Houser reflected, “we want to be able to score touchdowns, not field goals.”

Coming up, the team will hold Media Day next Saturday (August 16th), before they turn the page to their in-state rival, NC State) in Week 1 (Thursday, August 28th).
