The White House is currently weighing whether to invite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the Alaska summit that will see President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin meet face-to-face, according to a report.

Trump announced a summit with Putin that will take place in Alaska next Friday, in a bid to strike an elusive ceasefire deal in the over three-year war in Ukraine. While few other details were given, there was no mention of Zelensky and Trump has previously indicated Putin would not have to meet with the Ukrainian president before their bilateral meeting.
