PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A man is facing charges after allegedly slashing the tires of three cars in Portland on Saturday afternoon, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of East Burnside Street and Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard after people reported their cars had been vandalized.

PPB said they identified at least three cars that had been damaged. One, which was occupied by a driver at the time, had all four tires slashed. Two others had two tires each flattened, police said.

Witnesses gave police a description of the suspect and said he had been screaming and running out in traffic while holding a knife.
