According to the Super Bowl odds , there isn’t much in common between the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills. However, as the NFL preseason begins, both fan bases share the excitement and hope that a new season brings. It likely won’t last long for fans of Big Blue, but Saturday’s Week 1 preseason game will mark their first opportunity to see exciting youngsters such as Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart. They’ll enjoy it while they can.
Buffalo has its eyes set on January and February, so quarterback Josh Allen — one of the leaders in the NFL MVP odds — will not play in the preseason opener. Coach Sean McDermott said most other starters will play “a quarter, give or take.” On the other side, Giants coach Brian Daboll didn’t give the media much outside of confirmation that Dart will play.
