CHICAGO — C.J. Kayfus slugged his first big league home run and Brayan Rocchio came up big on both sides of the ball as the Guardians moved within five games of American League Central Division-leading Detroit with a 3-1 win Saturday against the White Sox at Rate Field.
Kayfus stretched Cleveland’s lead with a solo home run to open the sixth, and Cleveland’s bullpen navigated the final 3 1/3 innings to capture the club’s fifth straight win.
