SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) - Next week, early voting starts in the runoff election for Spartanburg County Sheriff. On Saturday, both Bill Rhyne and Rusty Clevenger took the stage to speak to the community.

Over the weekend, "Brothers United For Change" (BUFC) held its fourth annual conference at the Chapman Cultural Center. The nonprofit organization focuses on empowering the Spartanburg community through advocacy, mentorship and public engagement.

“What we're doing is we are bringing our brothers together. Brothers of all colors, all nationalities coming together, being united as one and trying to make men put a desire in their heart to be better men, to make a difference in our world," said Dr. Robin Ivey, the organization's founder.
