On Night 2 of Prelude to a Championship, Tyner cruised to a 40-14 win over Hixson, while Heritage defeated East Hamilton 36-14.

The Rams got out to an early 6-0 lead on their first drive of the game and doubled the score in the second on an Avery Ford touchdown.

The Wildcats got on the board on the first play of the second quarter. Jake Pollock's quarterback keeper made it a 13-6 ballgame.

Hixson went in front shortly thereafter on a Ryan Burney fumble recovery touchdown.

However, Tyner answered with 27 unanswered points. The Rams roll to a 40-14 win. The team will open up the year at Silverdale. Hixson will be on the road at East Hamilton.
