Packers receive massive injury update on Jayden Reed

The Green Bay Packers fell 30-10 to the New York Jets in their first of three preseason games. Despite the loss, the Packers did receive positive news on the status of Jayden Reed for Week 1.

During the game against the Jets, Reed was seen in a walking boot. After the contest against New York, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur gave a positive update on the manner.

ESPN's Rob Demovsky reported on Saturday that LaFleur said wide receiver Reed's walking boot isn't related to the toe injury he had before camp, calling it something different.

When asked about Reed's availability for Week 1, LaFleur said he hoped it wouldn't be an issue but admitted, "anytime you see a guy in a boot that's a concern."
