Vaping experts Vape Ease UK are warning drivers that using e-cigarettes while driving could land them in serious legal trouble — despite vaping not being illegal in itself.

While there’s no specific law banning vaping behind the wheel, if a driver is seen releasing large clouds of vapour, fumbling with a device, or becoming distracted while using it, they can be charged under Section 3 of the Road Traffic Act for careless or inconsiderate driving.
