Paul Schreiner popped up from his seat at a picnic table to show off his typical work clothes since retirement. It’s pretty much the same attire he’s worn for the past 30 years.
“This is my uniform,” he exclaimed with a laugh, waving his arms for effect. “All the time.”
A beat-up T-shirt. A wrinkled pair of stained pants. And an old belt keeping them from slipping off his slim 77-year-old body.
“I should have worn a cap today,” he said after sitting back down.
