MACON, Ga. — Six people — including two Macon State Prison inmates — were indicted for distributing fentanyl sourced from China in Central Georgia, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Georgia.
The press release says Devito Young, 44, Trace Works, 29, Xin Wang, 27, Andreaus Oliver Sr., 43, Andreaus Oliver Jr., and Gao Yong, 29, have been indicted for conspiring to distribute fentanyl from China to the United States, starting in 2023.
According to the release, Young and Oliver Sr. were inmates at Macon State Prison when the conspiracy began. Packages of synthetic drugs arrived at Oliver Jr.'s address in Cordele. The drugs were shipped by Wang and Yong from China, which is where the two live.
The indictment said that Wang directed the s
