NEW KENT, Va. (WWBT)—The 2025 Festival of Racing took place on Saturday, August 9, at Colonial Downs in New Kent, and big winnings were at stake.

The race had $2.8 million in prize money and attracted $10.46 million in wagers from all sources, setting two new one-day records for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
