DES MOINES, Iowa —

Fans at the Iowa State Fairgrounds dressed up as Pitbull for his performance at the annual Iowa State Fair Sunday.

Fans were wearing bald caps, white shirts, ties, sunglasses, and drawn-on goatees as part of a Mr. Worldwide tradition.

Hearst sister station KCCI spoke with some fans before the show about their choice to dress up.

"Mr. Worldwide himself, we had to look like him," one fan said.

Another added, "It's always a better time when you have the whole get-up on, everybody likes it."

A third fan shared, "He's just an inspiration, why not?"

Some fans mentioned they wore the outfit at the fair all day.

Pitbull has embraced this trend as a symbol of unity and fun, referring to his fans as "Baldies."
