It may be the summer holidays, but that doesn’t stop roads in Plymouth from closing for roadworks. But this week, it is not jut roadworks that cause closures across the city, but the world famous British Fireworks Championships.

The British Firework Championships will return to Plymouth Hoe this week on Wednesday and Thursday for a spectacular 'Champion of Champions' event. It will see six previous winners invited back to present ten-minute displays as they compete to be crowned the best of the best over two nights in August.
