(BCN) -- The National Weather Service forecast for the greater San Francisco Bay Area for Monday calls for warmer-than-usual conditions, slight chances of drizzle along the coast, and cloudy skies before gradual clearing in most areas of the region.
Daytime highs are likely 90s to near 100s inland, low 70s to mid 80s near the bays, and the low to mid 60s along the coast. Overnight lows are expected to range from the mid 50s to low 60s in lower elevations, and from the mid 60s to low 70s in the hills.
Forecasters expect hot, dry weather to continue across the Bay Area and Central Coast on Monday, with little relief for the warmest inland areas. The heat is creating a moderate HeatRisk for inland parts of the Bay Area, bayside areas in southeastern San Mateo County and western Alameda Coun
