SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - As many Fighting Irish fans know, former Notre Dame linebacker Jack Kiser is now taking the field for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars .
And while his departure is a loss in leadership and experience for the Irish, the focus in the locker room isn’t on replacing him.
Instead, the team is driven to honor his legacy by playing for him and learning from what Kiser taught them.
“I don’t think it is really about replacing Jack,” says linebacker Jaylen Sneed. “I think its playing for Jack because of the stuff he did and standards that he set. So, it’s just like playing for him and the LBs that came before us. Showing them that they can play to their standard and play as good as they did in the past.”
