SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Last year, several Notre Dame wide receivers made some noise.

Jaden Greathouse had a big performance in both the Orange Bowl and the national championship game while Jordan Faison also was a key player last season.

But this upcoming year, the Irish add another dynamic weapon to the mix.

Virginia transfer wide receiver Malachi Fields is looking to make an impact as soon as the season gets underway.

In 2024 with the Cavaliers, he had career highs of 11 receptions and 148 yards at Wake Forest and scored the go-ahead touchdown in a four-catch, 63-yard performance at Boston College.

So, there’s no doubt about his talent. And with Will Pauling also coming in from Wisconsin, that adds even more weapons to the Irish receiving room.
