SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A bill to be voted on at the August 11 Springfield City Council meeting could change how the city handles nuisance properties.

Chapter 74, the Nuisance and Housing Code, and Chapter 38, the Land Development Code, are where these changes would be seen if the bill were to pass.

The changes to the Land Development Code primarily focus on defining small projects that can occur without construction documents signed by a design professional, such as those that may involve a significant amount of materials being delivered to someone’s yard.
