MINNEAPOLIS — Byron Buxton is back!

The Minnesota Twins announced the All-Star center fielder is being reinstated from the 10-day injured list after missing 13 games with a left ribcage strain.

Buxton's return to the lineup will be his first appearance since the team traded away several of his teammates at the end of July. However, refreshed with new acquisitions, a crop of callups from AAA St. Paul, and the return of rookie sensation Luke Keaschall, the Twins have so far defied expectations with a 5-4 record since the July 31 trade deadline.
