ABSECON — In Mona Dumond's 30 years working in nursing, she always knew she one day wanted to teach.
On Sunday, surrounded by family, friends and her church community, Dumond cut the ribbon on Rosa Nursing School, bringing a new educational opportunity to Absecon.
"I am very excited and very happy," Dumond, 61, of Egg Harbor Township, said.
Rosa Nursing School is located at 707 White Horse Pike, Suite A4-U in Absecon, a small complex just off Route 30 with a handful of offices.
Rosa Nursing School planned to open Monday and offer a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program to start. Eventually Dumond will add home health aid for elderly and disabled patients.
