The first graduates of a new Control Tower Operator Partnership Program in Selma — are now ready to start careers in the aviation industry.
Drew Pacer of Ohio is one of seven new graduates of Advanced ATC’s CTOP program.
“This program is specifically designed to help the FAA staffing levels in the federal contract world,” said Advanced ATC Chief Operating Officer Dan Cunningham.
“There’s approximately 260 federal contract towers in the United States and they operate anywhere from 4 or 5 controllers per facility.”
