LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - AARP Michigan and the Greater Lansing Care Foundation are announcing the launch of the Greater Lansing Memory Café, a new community resource offering a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals living with memory loss or dementia, as well as their family and caretakers.

This initiative builds on the success of AARP Michigan’s Ethel’s Place , which has provided a space for connection and community among those impacted by memory loss.

“Social isolation is a real challenge for people living with memory loss and their caregivers,” said Paula D. Cunningham, AARP Michigan State Director. “This café is about restoring connection, joy, and understanding — and ensuring no one walks this journey alone."
