GIBSLAND, La. (KSLA) - A teenager is dead and another is in jail after a reported shooting at an apartment complex in Gibsland.
The Bienville Parish Sheriff’s Office says this all happened Sunday night (Aug. 10) around 9 p.m. in the parking lot of the Villa Apartments.
The sheriff’s office says two teens, Keondre Brice, 19, of Centerville, Miss., and Quanterrick Montgomery, 19, of Dubberly, got into some sort of argument that resulted in shots being fired.
Montgomery was killed in the shooting.
The sheriff’s office says Brice reportedly fired 17 shots, one of which hit Montgomery. The other shots were fired in Montgomery’s car; inside the car were two girls and Montgomery’s brother. None of the people inside the car were injured, the sheriff’s office says.
