Last week, when New Times ran an article on Miami's Ten Most Legendary Concerts , we included a quote from Terry Weiss, keyboardist for 1960s Hialeah rock band Brimstone, who, as a teenager, played at two of the shows. Brimstone performed at the 1968 Easter Sunday Love In at Greynolds Park, alongside more notoriously opening for the Doors the following year at the Dinner Key Auditorium Show, where Jim Morrison was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior. When New Times reached out to Weiss to share the article, we learned from his Facebook page that he had fallen on hard times and set up a GoFundMe to raise funds to help with car and home relocation .
