GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Swimmers on Grand Haven City Beach pulled an unresponsive person out of the water Monday afternoon.

Just after 2 p.m., 13 ON YOUR SIDE's Grand Haven Beach camera showed a group of beachgoers going into the wavey conditions and pulling a person to shore. Once on dry sand, rescuers started life-saving measures.

First responders from different agencies could be seen running out to the scene shortly after the call for help went out.

After multiple rounds of CPR, emergency crews loaded up the victim and took the person to an ambulance. The person's condition was not immediately available, and it wasn't clear how long the person had been in the water.

Grand Haven State Park shared on Monday morning that waves were 3 feet or higher, and swimming was not advised. Official
