Movie buffs don’t catch much of Martin Scorsese in front of the camera outside of the occasional TV cameo (see: The Studio ) or TikToks quizzing the great director on Gen Z slang. According to Apple TV+, that’s because he’s been gearing up to release a five-part documentary on his life’s work.

Titled Mr. Scorsese , the five-part documentary plans to offer “unrestricted access to Scorsese’s private archives,” featuring interviews with Cate Blanchett, Daniel Day-Lewis, Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jodie Foster, Mick Jagger, Margot Robbie, Thelma Schoonmaker, Paul Schrader, Steven Spielberg, Sharon Stone, and, of course, Scorsese himself. Mr. Scorsese premieres on Apple TV+ on October 17.
