The three Orange County girls volleyball teams that won state championships a year ago will tip off the 2025 season together in a two-day preseason classic at Winter Park High School this week.

The Wildcats, winners of the Class 7A title , will be joined by 4A champ Bishop Moore and 3A champ Lake Highland Prep in a two-day warmup that also includes Orangewood Christian — which was a region runner-up.

“I love it. We’ve had the same four schools in our preseason classic for more than 20 years now, and it’s always fun,” 25-year Winter Park coach Stephanie Gibson said.

This is the first week of school for students and also preseason week for FHSAA fall sports — football , golf, cross country, swimming and bowling.

Lake Highland plays Orangewood at 5 p.m., followed by a Winter Park
