SILVER BAY, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Authorities are still searching for a swimmer who jumped off a waterfall on the North Shore.

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to Tettegouche State Park Monday morning for reports of a person who had not resurfaced after jumping into the water.

According to authorities, the man jumped off of the High Falls around 11:30 a.m. and had not surfaced for one to two minutes when they received a call.

Authorities have not shared the name of the person involved.
