BOZRAH, Conn. — A man is dead after he was shot by a Connecticut State Trooper in Bozrah Saturday evening.

The Office of the inspector General is investigating as per state statute.

On Saturday, State Police said, "Preliminary information shows that Troop K personnel responded to the area of Gifford Lane in Bozrah for an active disturbance involving a firearm. We can confirm there is no threat to the public at this time."
