TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Families were out at Centennial Pool and splash pad in Buffalo Monday afternoon trying to cool off and beat the summer heat.

Just a few hours before that, 2 On Your Side visited the Paddock Spray Park in the Town of Tonawanda where the sensory-friendly session was underway. The town has two sensory sessions every week. One is on Saturday mornings and one is on Mondays from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

They're very popular and were added by request after the park opened around Memorial Day. The Town Supervisor says it's great to see all of the kids playing at the park.
