Vermont Community Broadband Board rolls out new connection program for hard

Vermont is ready to spend just over $6 million on bringing the internet to out-of-the-way places.

The Vermont Community Broadband Board (VCBB) has allocated $6.1 million of the $95 million it received through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) for broadband infrastructure to the Affordable Long Drop Program, said Kristina Sweet, director of regulatory compliance for VCBB.
