Mounties say the Malahat Highway (Hwy. 1) is closed in both directions near Goldstream Provincial Park following a multi-vehicle collision Monday afternoon.

“We are currently responding to a multi-vehicle collision in the northbound lane of the Trans Canada Highway near Finlayson Arm,” a West Shore RCMP spokesperson says.

“Both directions of travel closed” at Finlayson Arm Road, states an update at 12:24 p.m. Monday on the DriveBC website. Another update is expected at 2 p.m.

Mounties say emergency crews are working to remove the vehicles.
