ZIONSVILLE, Ind. — The Indiana Court of Appeals is upholding the conviction of a Zionsville mom who fired a gun in her bikini at police with her children nearby .
Lauren Cupp was found guilty following a confrontation with officers from the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department, Zionsville Police Department and Boone County Sheriff's Office.
Cupp was ultimately convicted of two counts of resisting law enforcement, two counts of felony neglect of a dependent and a sentence enhancement for using a gun during the commission of a crime
On May 29, 2023, Cupp was with her children walking to the pool in the Royal Run neighborhood, which is located off Interstate 65 near Whitestown and Zionsville. She had an active warrant for her arrest stemming from a trespass and battery case in Hancock
