COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A Colorado Springs man is in custody for arson for the second time in less than a month after police said he started a small fire over the weekend.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers were called out on Sunday just before 4:45 p.m. to assist the Colorado Springs Fire Department with a fire near Wooten Road and Geiger Boulevard, on the east side of the city.
Police said they learned that a fire was started behind a building in the area and said they were able to talk with a suspect, Brandon Hugney. CSPD said they had enough probable cause to arrest him for arson.
