WESTLAKE, Ohio — Westlake firefighters are currently on scene at the Westown Gardens apartments/condos on Westown Boulevard battling a building fire.

The Westlake Police Department confirmed the fire on their official Facebook page . 3News is currently on scene gathering information.

Cire crews from Avon, Lakewood, Fairview Park and North Olmsted are assisting the Westlake Fire Department. A Westlake police officer confirmed to 3News that no individuals were transported to the hospital but did not comment any further on the number or nature of any potential injuries resulting from the fire.
