COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office says five people face charges in connection with burglaries at a self-storage business.

Michael Hayes, Albert Brodie, Quaylon Reynolds, Cheryl Plowden and Paul Sowell were all arrested in connection with six break-ins at Monster Self Storage, Sgt. Laura Rutland said.

Deputies say the burglaries occurred between July 31 and Aug. 4. Investigators estimate $30,000 worth of property was reported stolen and some of the stolen items have been recovered, they say.

Deputies are working to identify any additional suspects and recover remaining property.
