BEREA, Ohio (WJW) – A shooting at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds on Saturday is still being investigated by Berea police, who are looking to bring the person responsible to justice.
The FOX 8 I-Team first reported the shooting on the fairgrounds which occurred around 11 p.m. on Saturday. An 18-year-old male was wounded but is expected to survive.
Middleburg Heights police arrested a person of interest who was found in possession of a gun, but police aren’t certain at this stage that person is the shooter.
Berea police said a group of 10 individuals were fighting near food vendor operations when someone fired one shot, hitting an 18-year-old male in the abdomen.
