NFL insider provides injury update on Alec Pierce

As injuries increasingly become a theme at Colts training camp, there is some good news.

After Kenny Moore II’s knee injury he suffered on Sunday was deemed to not be serious, the Colts got a positive update on wide receiver Alec Pierce.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Pierce, who suffered a groin injury during Sunday’s practice, is considered day-to-day. FOwler added the injury “does not appear to be serious.”

Pierce had left practice briefly before trying to make a return, ultimately coming off the field again.

It’s a sigh of relief for Pierce, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract looking to build off his breakout 2024 campaign.
