The family of a teenager who was killed in New Jersey during a multi-car crash is speaking out after two people connected to the incident were arrested at Miami International Airport.
According to New Jersey Police, a mother and son are being accused of trying to flee the country because the son, Alvi Limani, is facing serious felony charges tied to the deadly crash.
Cellphone video captured 20-year-old Limani and his mother, 42-year-old Vilma Vneshta, walking off a United Airlines flight in handcuffs on July 17.
Limani was wanted for manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges.
His mother is charged with hindering arrest or prosecution.
